Christmas

We had such a fun Christmas this year. Cassie was able to come home and we got to meet her little girls Vanessa and Vivian. It has been so long since we have seen her, it was really awesome having her home to celebrate with us this year. So grateful they were able to make it happen. We did an Ulrich Christmas Party the day before Christmas Eve and then spent Christmas with Mike's family.

We went down Tuesday evening and went and saw Christmas lights and then hot coco at Scott and Katie's. Then Wednesday was all play. We did sleds behind the four wheelers and played in the snow. Ani loved that. It was pretty chilly, but she was all smiles.

 

We had our Christmas party where all the kids acted out the nativity. Ani made the sweetest little Mary. She gently laid Jesus down and stayed right by him the whole time. She was so excited to hold "Jophus'" hand. Haha!

Then we had a special visitor. Ani was so excited to see him even though the look on her face here isn't showing it. She was a little star struck when it was her turn to sit on his lap. She told him what she wanted for Christmas (puzzles) and the guy came through for her. :)  

Christmas Eve was at Grandma and Grandpa Watkins'. It was perfect. Ani loved opening presents and was so polite and saying thank you to everyone. I have always tried to make sure she is polite and grateful for the things she has. So far, we are doing pretty well. I hope she always remember the true purpose of this season and is grateful for anything extra she receives. It was a white Christmas and everything was gorgeous outside!  A wonderful Christmas!

Then the Watkins family party that night. Consisted of games and lots of food. Great time seeing everyone and spending time together. By the end Ani was pooped!
